David M. London, the founder of Personalized Insurance Solutions, LLC, is a licensed independent insurance professional specializing in life insurance, disability insurance, long-term care insurance, group benefits, and working as a team with attorneys in the creation of effective estate plans. His extended background also includes having worked in education and as a Consumer Specialist for the Attorney General’s Office of Maryland.
With many years’ experience in the insurance field, he is firmly dedicated to excellence, integrity and finding the very best solution for each individual client. He is an ally to financial planners, not competition, and is a member of the Baltimore Estate Planning Council. His clients include individuals, families, businesses, and professionals. His clients even include current or retired insurance agents and financial planners because they know he will do a great job for them.
Mr. London holds degrees from both Johns Hopkins University and University of Maryland Baltimore County. Helping people find the right fit to protect their most important financial assets is a passion with him. This includes (a) their income in the case of long-term disability due to illness or injury; (b) their family’s income in the case of loss of life; (c) their business’s continued success in the case of the disability or death of a key employee or owner; and (d) their retirement savings, retirement lifestyle, and legacy due to long-term care needs.
He works very differently than many in the industry. He sees his profession as a service to others. He does not do what is best for an insurance company and does not do what is best for himself; he does 100% what is best for the client. Mr. London gives significant care to each and every client so that, when he has completed his work with them, the client’s goals are met, and they are in the best possible situation.
Mr. London does not offer canned solutions. When meeting with a client, he takes a thorough inventory of each client’s needs, lifestyle, plans and goals to see their entire situation. He then gives each client’s situation a great deal of thought and research to find the very best solution for that client. He makes a point of educating the client on the intricacies of insurance in plain language so that the client fully understands and can make wise decisions. Whenever possible, he does not offer the client just one solution but goes over each of the best possible solutions with that client and the advantages and disadvantages of each. Then, together, he and the client narrow it down to the one that is best for that client and the one that the client feels most comfortable with.
In his free time, Mr. London does volunteer work on behalf of both people and animals. He is personally responsible for the creation and passage of four laws in the state of Maryland, served as a subcommittee chair on a gubernatorial commission and is the recipient of the Governor of Maryland’s Salute to Excellence Award.
